Parade of Flags. The Dames offer a program that tells the story of the various flags that have flown over our country through the presentation of eighteen silk flags, together with a recorded music score and a narrated script.
Wreaths Across America. On a specified day, the Dames join others across the country in wreath laying ceremonies at local cemeteries to honor veterans for their service.
Operation Ball Gown. The Dames donate ball gowns and cocktail dresses so that female military personnel and military wives can participate in official “dress up” functions.
Valentines for Vets. Local Dames’ groups distribute Valentines to residents of veterans’ homes, frequently partnering with school children for handmade creations. They also provide “wish list” items as gifts for the homes.
Citizenship Programs. Members attend the Naturalization Ceremony and host a reception for the newest Americans.
